Be less bitchy with Midol! Get your ass in the kitchen where it belongs, ladies!

I saw these over at Forever Decorating, and just had to share these with you. I don't think any of these would fly today. Hubby saw these and said he was going to return my Mother's Day presents and get me a new vacuum. I told him that he must not like sex very much.

So, I could nourish the babies with beer, educate them with TV and make them feel better with some coke while I take my midol and be seduced by my man's second hand smoke. No wonder I romanticize about the olden days! LOL, these are great!

Thanks for sharing this!!! my hubby and i get a huge laugh over old ads about wives. he is having a lousy start to his day, this is sure to pick him up :)

Those are hilarious! Today I'm letting my kids watch more TV and I'm off to crack open a beer. If it can help a nursing baby, it can help a fetus, right?

And it sounds sad but if my hubby bought me a good vacuum, I'd be in heaven! But only because that would mean I had a vacuum that actually picked crap up off the carpet.

Of course then I'd lose my excuse not to vacuum...

I laughed so much when you said that he must not like sex very much.

My favorite is the one for Dormeyer. The one where it suggests the wives circle the items they like and cry a little. I have to be honest and say that I actually do this.
The other reason that I like this add is that I can imagine American Dad's voice reading it.

Hah. How things have changed- advertisers would never be this forward now, even if they are saying pretty much the same thing. My fave is also the Dormeyer appliances ad.

Oh, poor chubbies. Too much educational television and beer milk.

Half sizes! And at the SAME PRICE! What a deal.

Classic. I majored in advertising, and can never get enough of old ads...

I wonder how our current adverts will look 50 years from now...

These ads have been digitally altered, right? These are not the original ads, right? You did such a good job with this, I can't tell if they're original or not ! Ha ha. Great ideas, thank you.
