I love this saying. This print comes in either mustard yellow or turquoise and a couple of different sizes. This would be perfect in all of those gallery walls that I see people put together. The turquoise would be perfect in my house. 

This is one of the coolest things I've seen. Ever been at a park or school function, you meet a mom that you'd love to hang out with or schedule a play date, and there is not a pen or paper to be found? These play date cards are the answer! You can choose from 50 different graphics and 14 different fonts, and Krystina will design your card and make sure it all coordinates.

Origami Owl: Sponsor Review + GIVEAWAY!

So, have you noticed something new on my sidebar?? I know you couldn't have missed the pretty ad on the right side, showing off a gorgeous locket. That locket comes from Origami Owl, and I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer (awesome name by the way), an independent designer for Origami Owl.

The lockets and charms inside are like wearing your own personal story. You first pick your locket, either medium (holds 4-7 charms) or large (holds 7-12 charms), and the color (plain silver, silver with bling along the edges, gold or rose gold) and then you choose your charms. And that's where I had the hardest time. There are SO MANY charms to choose from. Everything from birthstones, to initials, to numbers, to hobbies... the options are endless.

After much thought, I finally picked out 5 charms I wanted. I went with a "hubby" themed locket. A "J" and a "D" for his first and last name, a charm that says "Love", a blinged out heart, and a birthstone for April (the month we got married in). Don't they look so pretty together? And look how shiny that locket is, you can see the reflection of my iPhone case. :)










The package was sent to me in a gorgeous little container, and it was super easy to put in the charms. The front and back of the locket are connected with a hinge on one side, and a super strong magnet on the other. I just popped it open, inserted my charms, threaded on the chain, and VOILA! It was ready to wear. Even hubby loved it and said it's so much prettier than he expected it to be.

So, we all know that I think that Lesley from Fabulously Flawed is the cat's pajamas. The greatest thing since sliced bread. Like, she rocks my socks.

Now, this post was supposed to be about an awesome set of earrings that she sent me a few weeks ago. Silver dangly earrings with red stars. BUT, a certain 8 year old in my house has "borrowed" them, and now I can't find them anywhere in her disaster of a room. In her defense, she did say that they "look like rock star earrings", which means they were totally worth coveting.


So, luckily for you, I'm slightly obsessed with Lesley's jewelry, and I own a few pieces. One of the first pieces I bought was this Sapphire Forever necklace. 

I get SO MANY FREAKING compliments on this necklace when I wear it. I've worn it with a pretty black dress, and it even makes my $3 thrift store cardigan look super fancy. It's not heavy at all, but has a good, solid weight to it. I can't say enough things about this piece. I heart it. 

I also own another piece from her shop called the Jennifer Necklace. You know I had to buy something that was named after me, right?  

We all know how popular red and turquoise are. I love how this necklace feels like an updated, modern twist to grandma's pearls.

Miscarriage and infant loss affects so many families.  According to a national report in 2000, 1 million of the 6.4 million pregnancies in the US ended in either a miscarriage or stillbirth;  and in 2003,  27,500 babies died before the age of one.

Parents who have lost babies love to hear that others remember their children and miss them.  If you know of anyone who has lost a baby, give them a call or drop them a note on Saturday.  It doesn't have to be anything special.  Just let them know you are thinking of them and their precious baby.  It will mean so much to them.

So, dear readers, you all know that I'm a HUGE fan of monograms. And of jewelry. So when I found this adorable Etsy shop a while back, I was super excited. Today I get the pleasure of introducing you to Cute Couture!
