Meet The Whimsy Shop + GIVEAWAY!

I've been chatting with Janice for a long time, since the beginning of my blog. She's one of those bloggers that I know is always going to comment on whatever random crap that I post. And as a blogger, you know that people like that are awesome. 

Besides being a crafty momma, she also has an adorable Etsy shop called The Whimsy. There you'll find a ton of gorgeous jewelry, all hand wrapped by Janice herself. How pretty are these? I have one just like the first one in gray, purple and clear. And you could rock this jewelry with anything you own in your closet. I get so many compliments on mine every time I wear it.


And, as a momma to angel babies, and a friend to a lot of women who have experienced a loss, this necklace really spoke to me. Janice explains it more beautifully than I ever could. 


"I designed this as a remembrance necklace for my son, Jack. It reminds me of something precious being encircled by two arms. The necklace is hammered to represent the beauty which comes from going through difficult circumstances."

    Visited the Whimsy Shop and I love them all but my absolute favorite is the Eternally Loved. I would get that with a green stone to remember my son Andrew, who died 2 1/2 years ago. It was his favorite color.

    I left her a message, I love all of her stuff, but I think the eternally loved is so special and thoughtful. I think I forgot to mention that I would choose red and clear (January and April) for myself and my husband. We get so busy with four kids, there is not a lot that is just for the two of us.

    I'm a follower, and I'd choose probably aqua and gray. THey don't represent anything, except that there's two of them, and I have two kids. My kids were born in the same month, and I don't know that month's birthstone. (Sept). Does that make me a bad mother?
