Anyway, there must have been something wrong with the car brake. You should take it to the shop for a check-up.

*Michelina DouglassAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09893318635615771403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714919283577385042.post-5217492830659599362012-06-15T21:30:44.509-05:002012-06-15T21:30:44.509-05:00Holy crap, that sounds scary, pregnancy hormones o...Holy crap, that sounds scary, pregnancy hormones or not! When I was a kid and would ride along with my dad, he always told me if anything ever happened to him while driving to pull the emergency brake. Probably would be a sudden stop and would wreck the car though! ;)
Glad everyone is safe and sound!Denise Z.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01289354507877863093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714919283577385042.post-21462822865175287912012-06-14T12:07:14.384-05:002012-06-14T12:07:14.384-05:00That's so scary! I was in a wreck 3 weeks ago where my SUV rolled over with my 13 year old in the back seat. The whole ordeal was so scary but luckily my daughter walked away perfect and I had what would be considered "minor" injuries for the severity of the accident. The strange part to me is the fear and anxiety that hits me when in the car is the "what if" stuff. We were ok we shouldn't have been but we were and knowing that i STILL can't get the "what if's" out of my head at times. What you are experiencing is normal so don't beat yourself up but DO remind yourself every time you have that anxiety race in that you reacted quickly and no one was injured - i do something similar and it helps a lot!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01956132843312632242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714919283577385042.post-51792873658378993512012-06-14T10:03:29.157-05:002012-06-14T10:03:29.157-05:00Definitely scary! If you are low on brake fluid, stomping on the pedal several times can build up enough pressure to make them work again. I run the front counter at my parent's repair shop. I see people coming in after accidents like that, and they are usually shaking and white as a ghost. It's a terrifying feeling!!Amanda https://www.blogger.com/profile/04209398393216642296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714919283577385042.post-33928782560400801912012-06-14T09:14:39.425-05:002012-06-14T09:14:39.425-05:00That is scary...it's always the "what ifs...That is scary...it's always the "what ifs" that get to me!
